Our practice is solely dedicated to elder law. I have been working in this area of law for nearly 20 years. Many of my clients come to me during a family crisis, and we walk them through the steps they need to take, providing them with clear, concise information in an effort to solve their problems in the most efficient way possible.

We do not just draft documents, we assist families in planning for their futures. I find it extremely rewarding to assist families with financial crises, protecting assets, placement issues, designating care managers and more. It is greatly enriching to know that I have helped my clients work through their unique circumstances.

Unlike many other areas of law, the paths in estate planning, probate,contested or uncontested wills and trusts, special needs trust,guardianships and Medicaid planning are not clear. When dealing with the wide variety of complex elder law issues, there is a lot at stake. It is impossible to fully know when a health crisis may improve or worsen. Furthermore, due to the many factors involved, some elder law issues may take three months to resolve while others take up to eight years. This area of law is ever changing, but this is ultimately about preserving your independence and giving the right people the power to make decisions about your family’s future in the event of a crisis.
